Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and singer. Many people know her from her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show "The Goldbergs.' Her primary focus is as the performer. Music is her first love she claims; it's something she has dabbled into when she was just 9 years old. She began training in music professionally when she was twelve. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded her album of covers at the age of 14. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia was raised in the USA but holds Hispanic heritage. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and her whole life was in America. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs that incorporate the language. She has recorded the Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut episode of The X Factor. Orrantia, who was initially picked by a panel of YouTube videos, received four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle in the live audition stage. The first time she auditioned, she was solo however, during "Hollywood week" she was put with three other female vocalists to form a trio during the remainder of the auditions. The live shows were held in the 5th week.
