Hayley is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," an American comedy show. However, she's primarily an avid music fan. Music, according her, is the first thing she loves. Her first time playing it at age nine. When she reached 12 years old, the music she was playing took more serious form and she began professional training. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was only 14 when she made her first collection of cover songs. There hasn't been a turning back ever since. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic origins. She's proud of her fact that she has Hispanic origins, although she was raised using English only, and did not live in Mexico. She endeavours to keep it alive by studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded can be a perfect illustration. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen from the submission of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" no votes by the jury at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female vocalists were placed into groups for the remaining part of auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live performances.
