Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress, best known in her role of Margo Hanson on the Syfy show The Magicians (2015-present). The actress was previously recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun. She is subject to emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film 'Towelhead'. The film was later chosen in 2007 as one of the 'Variety Ten Actors to Watch'. In the 2009 movie Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. She also won in the Independent Spirit Award category for 'Best female lead'. Apart from starring in numerous films, including Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she's also appeared as a guest in several television series and played recurring roles in a variety of other movies.
