Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She also coaches and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie became the very first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She finished second both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. The media has praised her for being the sole woman to ever win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017, she won the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. From a very young time, she was an avid sports fan and enjoyed working out. She was awarded numerous medals in school competitions. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as in 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. She did well on her initial competitions, placing within the top 10. However, she didn't win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the contest as the very first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie's growing fame as an athlete has seen her become the face of many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Additionally, she also has an Youtube channel called "Annie" with several thousand viewers. These are her travel videos and training diet video clips.
