Ina-Garten

Ina Garten, an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host of the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons running until the year 2020. Ina Garten began her professional journey at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budgetary papers. She initially loved being stimulated by the intellectual aspect of her job, but soon was bored. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. It took her 18 years to make her store very successful, before selling it before putting pen to paper to begin writing her first cookbook. Others followed, and so magazines too. In addition, her Food Network TV show also was launched with great success. Her products range from kitchen equipment and cooking materials to storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook who has not attended any cooking classes, nor worked in a kitchen. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is well-known. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
