Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. Her desire to be an artist was in part influenced from her childhood as a member of the New York family of artists. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start in the world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
